Terry Crews, that awesome human being that’s become the face of Old Spice and de-facto lipsyncer of A Thousand Miles, has officially joined the PC Master Race. And no, he didn’t pay a bunch of dudes to assemble his gaming rig for him – he legit bought and assembled his monster gaming rig himself, and crowd-sourced answers to snags he encountered along the way.

And did Terry build a bruiser of a PC, fit for a guy that easily dual-weilds AA-12 automatic shotguns – from what we can see he’s packing two NVIDIA GTX 1080s in there, along with a Xonar essence STX audio card, Intel Core i7-6800K 3.4GHz 6-Core processor, Asus SABERTOOTH X99 ATX LGA2011-3 motherboard, Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB DDR4-3200 memory, Samsung 850 PRO 2TB 2.5? SSD, NZXT PHANTOM 820 full tower case, EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2 1000W 80+ Platinum modular power supply and Razer DeathAdder Chroma Wired mouse plus a Audio-Technica ATH-PDG1 headset.

The best thing about this? Terry Crews essentially went through the same process that every person goes through when building a new gaming PC. He got help from forums, Facebook and a number of other, more experienced builders, and assembled his own PC himself. It also shows just how ridiculously low the barrier of entry is technically speaking of building a gaming PC, which is a big improvement – just ask anybody that had to build a PC ten years ago.
