Marshall started out in the headphone segment by coming out with their Major on-ear headphones and minor earphones. Since then they’ve released different color variations but nothing really new. For 2013 though they have a pretty sweet offering! During the recent Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas they announced the Marshall The Monitor over-ear headphones. It looks elegant, stylish, and just screams rocker. Design-wise alone I’d get this over any Beats headphones any day!
The distributor of Marshall headphones in the Philippines, Digits Trading (Beyond the Box, Digital Walker, Digital Hub) has been teasing the Marshall the Monitor for the last few weeks. It looks like the local launch will coincide with the US which is sometime later this month.
While there aren’t any reviews yet (for obvious reasons), Marshall is claiming that The Monitor aims to provide superior noise isolation, extreme comfort, produces deep bass, extended highs, and natural well-balanced mids. We’re looking forward to testing this out once it hits stores!
No word yet on pricing but we’ll post it here once we get more info from Digits Trading.
