Sony’s Compact Cameras Make for the Perfect Companions this Summer

DSLRs, and even Sony’s latest mirrorless camera — the a6500, can be quite bulk to take around, so we’d like to introduce you to two very capable compact shooters from Sony: the Sony HX90V and the CyberShot WX500.

On paper, the two looks like the same camera. They both feature an Exmor R CMOS sensor with 18.2-effective megapixels and a BIONZ X image processor, both are capable of shooting 1080p videos at 60fps, have high-resolution screens that tilt 180-degrees for great selfies or if you want to vlog, and a fast AF system that it inherits from the A7 series of cameras. The only real difference we’re seeing between the two is the fact that the Sony HX90V has an electronic viewfinder.

If you’re want to pack light and always have a camera with you check out these two compact cameras from Sony.

The Sony HX90V is priced at Php 22,999 and the CyberShot WX500 is priced at Php 16,999. Just in case you want something just as compact, but can shoot 4K video, you may want to check out Sony’s RX100 Mark V as well.
