The same processor found on the Galaxy S8/S8+
Meizu is no stranger to using Samsung’s Exynos processors, as the mid-range M6S that launched a few months ago came with a hexa-core Exynos 7872. Given that Samsung will be selling its Exynos chips to other brands, we will not be surprised to see Exynos-powered phones from other brands.
The latest to join the fray? Meizu’s upcoming Meizu 15 Plus, which is reported to use an Exynos 8895 processor–the same processor found on the Galaxy S8/S8+. This has been confirmed by a screenshot from AnTuTu:
Aside from an Exynos 8895 processor, the Meizu 15 Plus will have 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, a 5.95-inch AMOLED display with a 2560×1440 resolution, 12-megapixel and 20-megapixel rear cameras, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a 3430mAh battery.
More details will be revealed as Meizu will unveil the Meizu 15 family on April 22.
