Part of Meizu’s mblu brand
While we have to wait for January 17 for the official announcement of the Meizu M6S, we have now a final look at the upcoming handset thanks to TENAA.
Don’t be confused with the mblu branding; it is Meizu’s new branding, and the M6S can be called the mblu S6 depending on the market.
The M6S/mblu S6 is Meizu’s first 18:9 Display smartphone, sporting a 5.7-inch HD+ display. In addition, it is confirmed to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. As for the implementation, the fingerprint scanner is separate from the power button. We’re not sure if it’s a good design or not until we get our hands on one.
Other confirmed specs include a Samsung Exynos 7872, Mali-G71 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
The M6S/mblu S6 is expected to be priced at 1000 Yuan (~Php 8k).
