Mi Store Philippines posted a teaser post on their social media pages about an upcoming smartphone. With the tagline “The simple choice. Coming Soon.” along with a silhouette of a familiar-looking phone, it is clear that they will be bringing the budget-friendly Redmi 7A to our shores.

As the most affordable phone in the Redmi 7 series, the Redmi 7A packs a Snapdragon 439 processor paired with a 4000mAh battery. The generous battery is worth noting, considering that the Redmi 7A is a compact phone with its notch-free 5.45-inch HD+ display.

We do not know about the price for now, but given the RS 5,999 price for the 2GB/16GB variant, we expect the Redmi 7A to have a sub-Php 5k price once it becomes available locally.
