Finally, a killer app for VR

If you’ve been looking for a decent game to use with that Gear VR headset that came with your Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, your prayers have been answered. Mojang, the developers for Minecraft has announced that their game will now work with the Samsung Gear VR.

There is a catch, though – you will have to buy the Gear VR version of Minecraft through the Oculus store, which is priced at $6.99, or around Php 327. The game that will be offered in the Oculus store will likely be the Pocket Edition of Minecraft, which is made to run on Android devices. Oculus is working on a full-fledged version of Minecraft for the Oculus Rift, which requires a PC to function.
