Since it was introduced last November, there is little talk about OPPO’s ColorOS 6. While we know that it will be based on Android Pie and will introduce several UI improvements, a community FAQ on Realme’s forums shed light on the major OS update.
Among the proposed changes for ColorOS 6 includes updating the clock app to give users the option to dismiss alarms before they go off. Also, ColorOS 6 will be bringing the app drawer—a highly requested feature for OPPO and Realme users.
ColorOS’ Smart Scan will support more languages, and the default browser will be optimized to be more power efficient.
ColorOS 6 is expected to roll out to OPPO and Realme devices this year.
