Moto G6 Play Retail Unit Spotted Ahead Of Official Launch

Key specs revealed as well

With only a few days before Motorola unveils the Moto G6 family on April 19, it would not be surprising to see the actual retail units by now. Recently, fresh set of photos showcasing the Moto G6 Play was spotted. The sticker in the phone’s front reveal a few key specs which include a 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, a Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner, and a 5.7-inch Max Vision HD+ display. Noticeably absent is the Motorola branding at the bottom bezel.

Going to the back, the G6 Play sports what looks like a glass back, with the fingerprint scanner bearing the Motorola logo. The camera module holds a single camera and LED flash, and has a design reminiscent of the Motorola Moto X4.

Given the specs, the Moto G6 Play is aimed at the budget mid-range market and is slated to go against similarly-specced phones like Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5.
