Moto Z4 Play Renders Keep MotoMods Mount and Same Overall Shape

Moto Z4 Play Renders Keep MotoMods Mount and Same Overall Shape

The display now has a waterdrop notch this time around

Motorola is reportedly working on the Moto Z4 Play this early after the Moto Z3 Play launched six months ago. We have yet heard anything about the Moto Z4 Play, but renders have surfaced, and it does not look that far from the Moto Z3 Play.

Since it is a Moto Z series phone, the Moto Z4 Play retains the proprietary MotoMods port, which is impressive for Motorola since this will be the fourth generation already. By retaining the port, the overall shape of the Moto Z4 Play remains the same, so all of your MotoMod accessories from the OG Moto Z should work well.

Unlike the Moto Z3 Play, the Moto Z4 Play will use a single rear camera setup. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be found, fueling speculation that it will use an in-display fingerprint scanner. Speaking of the display, the Moto Z4 Play has a waterdrop notch and slimmer bezels compared to its predecessor. The headphone jack is still there, which is good news to those who prefer going old school with their cans.

There are no leaks about the specs yet but expect the Moto Z4 Play to use the latest Snapdragon 600-series processor.
