Motorola Brings The razr Back As A Foldable Phone

Bringing back the clamshell

Motorola is bringing back its iconic clamshell phone, the razr. The clamshell is making a comeback as a foldable smartphone in the US.

The phone is a fairly compact thanks to its folding screen, and once it’s fully unfolded the OLED display comes in at 6.2-inches, typical for an average smartphone nowadays.

When the clamshell is shut a small 2.7-inch display shows notifications, which is a throwback to the OG smartphone.

The new razr isn’t a speedster, only armed with a Snapdragon 720 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It’ll ship with Android Pie, along with a 1,499 price tag in the US.
