Motorola Debuts Moto G8 Plus, Moto G8 Play and Moto E6 Play

The One Macro goes Global as well

Motorola adds two new phones that are not under the One Portfolio with the Moto G8 Plus and Moto E6 Play. The Moto G8 Plus gets a slightly larger display and ditches the Motorola branding on the bottom bezel and the circular camera setup found on the Moto G7 Plus.

The Moto G8 Plus gets a triple rear camera setup, comprising of a 48-megapixel f/1.7 main camera, 16-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle Action camera—which can shoot Full HD video at 120FPS, 5-megapixel depth sensor. The fourth camera-looking module is home to a laser autofocus sensor.

The Moto G8 Plus gets a more powerful Snapdragon 665 processor and bigger 4000mAh battery, along with the same RAM and storage configuration with the Moto G7 Plus.

Then there’s the Moto G8 Play, which is smaller than the Moto G8 Plus with its 5.7-inch HD+ display yet sports the same 4000mAh battery. It also comes with a triple camera setup, but you are getting a 13-megapixel main snapper, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor instead.

Inside the Moto G8 Play is a Helio P70 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

Lastly, the Moto E6 Play is an upgrade from the E5 Play with its larger, notch-free display,  bigger (but non-removable) and higher resolution rear camera.
