Motorola Wants To Win the Mid-Range with the G8 Power and G8 Stylus

Both come with competitive prices for its specs

In its latest effort to win the saturated mid-range market, Motorola unveiled two G8 variants in the US with the G8 Power and G8 Stylus. Both phones look virtually identical with their 6.4-inch Full HD+ punch-hole display (that is home to a 16-megapixel snapper), stereo speakers, USB-C, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and triple rear camera setups, and have roughly the same internals: Snapdragon 665, 4GB RAM, Android 10 out of the box, and 10w charging.

To differentiate one from the other, the G8 Power has a beefier 5000mAh battery, 64GB internal storage, and a more conventional triple rear camera setup that comprises of a 16-megapixel f/1.7 main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2-megapixel f/2.2 macro camera.

The G8 Stylus, on the other hand, has a smaller 4000mAh battery to accommodate its built-in stylus that lets you do a bunch of features including marking screenshots. It also comes with 128GB internal storage and swaps the G8 Power’s main and ultra-wide-angle cameras for a 48-megapixel main camera and 16-megapixel Action camera—a similar one found on the One Action where you can shoot 16:9 videos while holding the phone vertically.
