Following the launch of the Xperia 1 and Xperia 10 series at MWC 2019, it appears that Sony is working on a new phone.
In a leaked image, the mystery Xperia phone has a triple rear camera setup, a minuscule camera bump, a glass back, and a familiar purple color. The mystery phone is different from the Xperia 1 as its camera module is placed on the right side—the Xperia 1’s module is placed on the center.
According to rumors, the mystery Xperia phone—presumed to be the Xperia 1s or 1v—will launch in Tokyo on July 9. Slated to be a more affordable version, this phone will still have a Snapdragon 855 processor but swaps the Xperia 1’s 4K HDR OLED display for an LCD panel.
