Benchmarking apps. Nope, you’re not experiencing deja vu.
After yesterday’s brouhaha about Benchmark scores being tampered with by a couple of companies, we can at least rely on them for something else — spec leaks for upcoming phones. The most recent smartphone details to be outed via GFXbench is one coming from Korean brand, Samsung, under the model name: SM-G615F or what our sources are speculating could be this year’s iteration of the On7 Pro.
Time to check out its spec sheet.
Samsung SM-G615F Leaked Specs
- 2.3Ghz MediaTek MT6757 octa-core processor
- 3GB of RAM
- Mali T-880 MP2 GPU
- 5.7-inch Full HD display; 1920×1080 resolution
- 32GB of storage
- 12-megapixel rear camera
- 12-megapixel front camera
- Android 7.0 Nougat
It seems the Korean company is taking cues from its Chinese rivals and putting a focus on the front-facing camera as well as you can clearly see by the inclusion of a 12-megapixel front camera on this smartphone and the recently released A series as well.
Also note that, while most of these specs are what will probably make it to market, nothing is truly final until Samsung officially launches the devices. While we already know that Samsung is holding off on the launch of the Galaxy S8 and we won’t be seeing it on the floor during Mobile World Congress, doesn’t mean to say that they won’t have anything new to show us either.
Is this 5.7-inch device the On7 Pro? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
