It is different from the dummy unit that leaked out
The mystery about the P30 Pro continues: while Digital Trends insisted that the P30 Pro is not getting a quad camera setup, new photos of what appear to be a production version of the P30 Pro say otherwise.
The alleged model was spotted with a relocated LED flash and laser autofocus module, and what appears to be a tiny ToF camera. Also worth noticing is the third camera at the bottom part of the triple rear camera setup: it appears to be a periscope-like setup, similar to what OPPO showcased with its 10x lossless zoom tech.
Does that mean that the one Digital Trends saw is the vanilla P30? Maybe. After all, Huawei CEO Richard Yu was spotted with the same phone—with most of its design elements concealed in a protective case.
Whatever the case may be, Huawei is up for several surprises come March 26.
