Including one with a triple rear camera setup
While ASUS confirms that it will unveil the ZenFone 6 soon, the Taiwanese brand is set to expand its ZenFone Max line with two models: ZenFone Max Plus M2 and a new one called ZenFone Max Shot.
Both models share the same design with the recently-launched ZenFone Max M2, and share the same camera module size. The difference is that the ZenFone Max Plus M2 uses a dual rear camera setup, while the ZenFone Max Shot uses a triple rear camera setup, with the LED flash placed outside of the module.
Diagrams of the manual have leaked as well, confirming a notched display, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a headphone jack, and—sadly—a MicroUSB port. Little is known yet about the two phones, save for internal storage: the ZenFone Max Plus M2 gets 32GB, while the ZenFone Max Shot gets 64GB.
No word yet as to when will they launch, but we expect ASUS to unveil them before the ZenFone 6.
