Possibly an in-display fingerprint scanner too
Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 7 flagship has leaked yet again before its initial unveil, and people who don’t like Apple-style notches will probably not be happy. Images from China suggest that the upcoming flagship will have a notch in the front of the phone, which is currently the hottest trend/bandwagon for devices this 2018.
The leak also shows off the rear of the device, which makes it clear that there’s no fingerprint scanner anywhere. That means two things: either the Mi 7 will rely exclusively on facial recognition for unlocks (unlikely) or that there’ll be an in-display fingerprint scanner embedded in the display.
The phone does look pretty rad in its glass body, which will also probably sport wireless charging. The phone’s also set to get a 6.01-inch full HD+ display, along with a Snapdragon 845 processor plus 6GB/8GB of RAM.
