Notches Say Hi With Leaked Press Renders Of The Huawei P20 And P20 Plus

Along with the leaked specs

While Huawei has chosen to announce its new MediaPad tablets for MWC 2018, anticipation for the P20 and P20 Plus is building up as the leaks arrive one by one. Yesterday, the P20 was spotted at TENAA, and for the first time, we now have leaked press renders for both the P20 and P20 Plus.

Both do sport a notch for their 18:9 displays and one of the main differences between the two is that the P20 has a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, and the P20 Plus has only the Huawei branding at the bottom. In essence, the P20 and P20 Plus are similar to the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro design-wise, save for the implementation of a notch.

As for the specs, we cannot confirm for now if the P20 Plus and P20 Pro are the same, and if both models will have the rumored triple rear camera system. However, rumors of a “P20 Pro High Version” have recently surfaced.

In the leaked spec sheet, the P20 Pro will sport a Kirin 970 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, and a 4000mAh battery. It’s triple rear camera system consists of a 12-megapixel color sensor, a 16-megapixel monochrome sensor, and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens, all sporting a f/1.8 aperture. The regular P20 will only have the color and telephoto lens, a 4GB/64GB RAM and storage configuration, and a 3320mAh battery. Common specs between the P20 and P20 Pro include a 6-inch Full HD+ display and an 8-megapixel f/2.0 front camera.

As far as pricing is concerned, the 8GB/256GB variant of the P20 Pro will sell for  $930(~Php 48.2k).
