NVIDIA Unveils Giant Gaming Monitors using G-Sync

120hz refresh rates on a 65-inch display

Among the things that NVIDIA discussed during its press conference (aside from its commitment to AI by developing the tech for autonomous vehicles) is the unveiling of what it calls Big Format Gaming Displays (BFGD).

These monitors have the size of 4K HDR TVs, as big as 65 inches while offering gaming-level specs such as a 120hz refresh rate, support for NVIDIA’s G-Sync, and NVIDIA Shield features.

NVIDIA showcased a prototype in the form of a 65-inch monitor at CES 2018, and potential manufacturers include ASUS, HP, and ACER.

NVIDIA did not indicate when these will be available, but given the prices of gaming monitors, BFGDs will definitely cost an arm and a leg.
