Olympus Outs Their Own Action Camera, The Stylus TG-Tracker


Another entry to the action camera game

There’s another player in the action camera game today, as Olympus has officially announced their own Stylus TG-Tracker action camera. The new device comes packing a wide 204-degree f/2.0 wide-angle lens, along with a Truepic TM VII processor capable of shooting 4K video at 30 FPS. The camera also has an 8-megapixel CMOS  (1/2.3) sensor for stills as well as 5-axis stabilization and a 1.5-inch, tilt-out LCD display.


Since it’s an action camera, the Stylus TG-Tracker is waterproof up to 100 feet, shock proof up to 7 feet, crushproof up to 220lb of force, dustproof and freezeproof up to 14 degrees Farheniet. It’s definitely one of the toughest commercial action cameras in the market today, and it’ll retail for $350 (Php 16.4K) when it lands in June.
