Here’s Your Best Look at the OnePlus 9

Ahead of its launch in the 1st quarter of 2021, hands-on photos of the OnePlus 9 has surfaced, confirming most of the rumors.

PhoneArena got hold of the images of the upcoming flagship, and confirms the updated camera bump with two big lenses and one small lens, along with a flat display with a punch-hole on the top right corner.

Being a prototype unit, the logo on the back and the text on the camera module is not yet final–especially since it is not typical of OnePlus to use “Ultra Shot” as part of their branding. As for the cameras, the prototype phone’s about page reveals that it will have a 16-megapixel f/2.45 selfie snapper and a 48-megapixel f/1.88 main rear camera with OIS. As for the display, the OnePlus 9 will be similar to the OnePlus 8T as it will have a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel with 120hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution.

Going to the internals, the prototype phone’s about page reveals that the OnePlus 9 will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor with at least 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, along with Android 11 out of the box. Just like recent OnePlus phones, the OnePlus 9 will not have a headphone jack.

There’s no word yet as to when the OnePlus 9 will launch, but given the past few years, we expect it to go official sometime in March.
