It’s a Christmas gift for loyal OnePlus users
If you’ve been waiting for OnePlus to update their older OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphones to Android Pie, we have good news: the company has officially announced that OxygenOS 9.0.0 for both devices is now rolling out via OTA, delivering delicious Android Pie to last year’s flagship killers.
The new update brings a couple of new features aside from Android Pie, including brand new navigation gestures, Gaming Mode 3.0, a new Do Not Disturb Mode as well as integrated Google Lens Mode.
As with any update, the new OTA will be rolled out incrementally, rolling out to a small number of users before a bigger roll out in the next few days.
