Oppo A31 Comes Bearing Dual-Glass Body, Mid-range Specs

Very beautiful design, but the specs are kind of meh

Oppo has officially revealed the newest member of their A-series of mid-range smartphones – the A31. The A31 has a very beautiful, body that sports glass panels on both the front and back of the device. Unfortunately, the A31 (which is priced at around RMB 999 or Php 7164) has rather middlin’ specs which is disappointing, especially since its other Chinese rivals like Meizu and Lenovo have very solid offerings at that price range.

Oppo A31 specs

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 4.5-inch IPS display, 480 x 854 resolution
  • 8GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB
  • 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI
  • 5-megapixel front camera
  • Dual-SIM
  • 3G, LTE (on both SIMs)
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG
  • 2,000mAh battery
  • Android 4.4 KitKat w/ Color OS 2.0

Of course not everybody buys a phone purely for the specs – some people buy phones because of how they look, and if that’s the case, the Oppo A31 may just be the fashion phone everybody’s been waiting for.

  1. Fairly enough, specially with the LTE. Just hope Oppo sells this with the price parallel with China’s. (Forgive me for the incorrect grammar)

  2. as expected~ low to mid ranged Oppo phones are quite pricey, makes me regret that they look so good outside but nothing much on the inside.
