The A52 may be around 4 months old, but that’s not stopping OPPO from launching an immediate successor with the A53. Not to be confused with the A53 from 2015, the A53 (2020) will come with a yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 460 processor with an Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage.
Making the phone interesting is its 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display, which has a 90hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The punch-hole has a 16-megapixel selfie snapper, while the fingerprint scanner is located at the back. As for the rear cameras, the A53 will have a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel main camera and two 2-megapixel cameras. Like the A52, the A53 has a 5000mAh battery with 18w USB-C charging.
According to the listing, the A53 is on pre-order for RP 2,499,000 (~Php 8.3k), so it’s just a matter of time before the phone becomes official.
