Claims that it will be the thinnest 5G phone to date
After confirming that the Reno 3 5G will be OPPO’s first phone to have ColorOS 7 out of the box, OPPO Vice President Brian Shen shared a teaser image of the Reno3 Pro 5G.
In his tweet, Shen claims that at 7.7mm (without the camera bump), the Reno3 Pro 5G will be the thinnest phone to have dual-mode 5G.
Based on the teaser image, the Reno3 Pro 5G will have a curved display with enough space at the frame area to accommodate the power button that is marked by a green accent. Due to the phone’s thickness, it is unlikely that the Reno3 Pro 5G will employ a pop-up front camera; instead, it might use a punch-hole display or it might debut OPPO’s in-display camera tech.
Aside from the render, Shen also confirmed that the Reno3 Pro 5G will have a 4025mAh battery.
