Oh, Weibo! You’re such a good place to find leaks for incoming smartphones.
A photo of the Oppo Find 9 and its specs have been uncovered in the Chinese micro-blogging site. Reported to be released in August, the Oppo Find 9 – according to the leaked image – will have a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Display at QHD (1440×2560) and will be powered by a Qualcomm SnapDragon 821 plus 8GB of RAM (That’s right, EIGHT! Unless our eyes are failing us, but that’s what our source says as well). The device will have 128 GB of Internal Storage to keep all your photos from the 21-Megapixel Rear Camera with SmartSensor Image Stabilization and your selfies from the 16-Megapixel Front Camera. The Oppo Find 9 will sport a USB Type-C port to juice up its 4100 mAh battery with Super VOOC tech. Running the show will be Oppo’s Color OS 3.0 on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop.
We could be seeing two variations of the phone, so do expect a version with less RAM and less internal storage. It’s only a month until the Oppo Find 9’s expected release date, so we should know more about its official specifications in the next weeks.
