An Entry-level 18:9 offering from OPPO
After being spotted in TENAA almost a month ago, the OPPO A83 is now official. From previous rumors, there are a few minor changes with the official release, which include its default RAM and internal storage. Aside from that, the A83 boasts of having Face Unlock, ditching the usual fingerprint scanner a la iPhone X. Here’s a quick look at its specs:

The A83 will be available in Champagne Gold and Black, and retail for approximately $215 (~Php 10.8k), potentially making it a possible entry-level model that will be sold outside of China. We will wait for OPPO Philippines to announce whether this phone will make it to our shores (and potentially replacing the A71).
