OPPO R15 To Launch On March 31

OPPO R15 To Launch On March 31

To sport a new Sony sensor

This is it: OPPO will be unveiling the R15 on March 31 at 8PM, based on this new poster that was spotted. So far, we can confirm that the R15 (and the R15 Dream Mirror Edition) will have 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage on board, and this latest teaser talks about the R15’s primary camera.

The teaser shares that the R15 will be using a Sony IMX 519 sensor, which is a yet-unknown sensor. From the material, what we can derive is that the IMX 519 has a larger 1/2.6″ sensor, along with 1.22-micron pixels, making them bigger and better compared to the IMX 398 sensor used on the R11 and R11S. In addition, the new sensor claims to offer double the sampling frame rate compared to the IMX 398.
