OPPO Reno5 Pro+ to Debut IMX 766 Sensor

OPPO Reno5 Pro+ to Debut IMX 766 Sensor

When OPPO announced the Reno5 series last week, the brand teased about a Reno5 Pro+ coming in a day before Christmas. Ahead of its official announcement, OPPO revealed the key features of the Reno5 Pro+, which include 65w wired charging, Snapdragon 865 processor, and a new IMX 766 sensor for the main camera.

The IMX 766 has a 1/1.56″ sensor and comes with 50-megapixels. If the sensor sounds familiar, that’s because it is expected to be used on OPPO’s upcoming Find X3 Pro. We should know more about this new sensor once the Reno5 Pro+ goes official on December 24.

Aside from the class-leading main rear camera, the Reno5 Pro+ gets a higher-resolution 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a more usable 16-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
