OPPO is looking to strengthen its F family of devices, as the Chinese brand has taken to the internet to announce the name of the F1’s successor, the F1s.
If you remember, OPPO initially announced their F family of devices promising to deliver “excellent camera performance and exquisite design tradition”, though the past releases under the new line mainly featured selfie-heavy products, not imaging juggernauts as we were led to believe. That may change with the new F1s, which the company promises to carry on the F1’s legacy of superb photography, sleek design and snappy performance, while adding new features and taking others to new heights. Based from the teasers that the company released a few hours ago leading up to the August 3 launch, the new phone will still focus on Selfie Photography, something that the original F1 was incredibly good at.
OPPO also promised that the upcoming device will be one of their core products for the second half of 2016. OPPO’s Vice President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business Sky Li predicts that the new device will be a “huge hit”.
