The Reno 3 5G will be the first OPPO phone to have ColorOS 7 out of the box
OPPO has officially unveiled its latest version of ColorOS in a press event in China. The Android 10-based skin introduces a UI redesign with lighter colors, a more rounded design, and support for icon resizing. System-wide dark mode is also present, along with enhanced memory optimization for better UI interaction.
Big upgrades are found on the camera. Depending on the OPPO phone receiving ColorOS 7, new upgrades include an updated portrait mode, a new extreme night mode, and a super anti-shake video profile (the latter we presume might be exclusive to the Reno2). There’s also a new app called Soloop which is used for quick photo and video edits.
OPPO’s Breeno assistant now has hands-free and driving modes, along with automated location and time-based actions. Lastly, Game Space now has Focus mode.
To wrap up the event, OPPO teased that the Reno 3 5G, which is slated for a December launch, will be the first phone to receive ColorOS 7.
