It might not be a triple rear camera setup after all
While it has been just a few days since OPPO unveiled the R17, people were wondering: where is the R17 Pro?
While the teaser brings speculation that the R17 Pro will have a triple rear camera setup, it might not be the case. Instead, the R17 Pro might have a variable aperture camera like the one found on Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Note 9 phones.

According to the latest teaser, the R17 Pro can shoot at either f/1.5 or f/2.4 depending on shooting conditions. Aside from the camera tease, a Geekbench posting indicates that the R17 Pro will have a Snapdragon 710 processor with 8GB RAM. In a nutshell, the Snapdragon 710 is similar to the recently-launched Snapdragon 670, only with a higher clock speed.
No word yet on when the R17 Pro is coming out, but we’re sure that it will happen in a few weeks’ time.
