We can confirm that the Otterbox Commuter Series for Samsung’s best selling “phablet” is now available here in the Philippines. Retailing for Php2,850, this basically has the same components: a hard polycarbonate shell and a shock absorbant silicone skin. There are cutouts for all the ports and rubber covers for the buttons giving you full access to your device.

Yes, the Otterbox Commuter Series will add bulk to your Galaxy Note 2, but it will protect it. Given the very scratchy nature of the metal band around the device, I’d say this is a very good investment.
The Otterbox Commuter for Galaxy Note II comes in either Black or White/Grey. Retails for Php2,850. Right now you can get them in Otterbox kiosks in malls but eventually gadget stores should carry them as well.
