There’s more in store for the brand
Following the unveiling of the POCO X2 as a rebranded Redmi K30, many were dismayed that the phone is not a true successor of the 2018 flagship killer POCO F1. With the POCO F2 (or POCO X2 Pro) expected to launch this year, POCO India general manager Chandolu Manmohan confirmed in a webinar that the upcoming phone will not be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro.
In addition to the clarification, Manmohan said that a RS 20,000(~Php 13.7k) price tag on a POCO device with a flagship chipset is not possible, advising people to get the POCO X2 instead.
Aside from details on the POCO F2, Manmohan hints that they will be launching their own TWS earbuds soon.
