Fans looking to pick up a Pocophone F1 with a kevlar back won’t have to pay that much anymore, as the Xiaomi sub-brand has launched a new, lower-spec variant of the device with the protective coating in India.
The Pocophone F1 Armored Edition used to only ship in the top 8GB/256GB variant and commanded a heftier Php 22,990 price tag over the regular 6GB/128GB variant sold in stores for Php 19,990.
The new, cheaper Armored Edition variant is equipped with slightly lower RAM and storage at 6GB/128GB but has the same DuPont Kevlar protective back as the top tier model.
The best bit is that it’s priced at INR 23,999 (Php 18.1K), considerably lower than the top tier variant.
No word yet whether this lower-priced version is set to come to the Philippines.
