Powerhouse Honor Flagship Passes TENAA

Powerhouse Honor Flagship Passes TENAA

Huawei has just successfully launched two smartphones in the Philippines, the GR5 (2017) and the Mate 9, but with Mobile World Congress just around the corner — we may be seeing more from the Chinese company. One such phone that we could possibly be seeing announced in Barcelona is this Honor branded device that has been given the designation, DUK-TL30. Let’s have a look at its spec sheet.

Huawei Honor (DUK-TL30) Specs

  • 2.4GHz octa-core processor
  • 6GB of RAM
  • 5.7-inch QHD display; 2560×1440 resolution
  • 128GB of expandable storage
  • 12-megapixel main rear camera; 2 megapixel secondary camera
  • 8-megapixel front camera
  • 4G, LTE
  • Dual SIM
  • Fingerprint scanner
  • 3900mAh battery
  • Android 7.0 Nougat

As you can see, that’s some pretty beefy hardware under the hood of this phone. Our source seems to think that the processor powering the device will be the Kirin 960, the same one found powering the Huawei Mate 9, and we’re inclined to agree. It’s paired with 6GB of RAM and a spacious 128GB of storage that you can add up to 128GB more via a MicroSD card. Like most current Huawei releases, this phone will also feature dual cameras, but the listed megapixel count in its spec sheet pales in comparison to the Mate 9’s setup. We’ll be keeping our eyes open for more details on this Honor branded phone, so stay tuned!
