Qualcomm Officially Unveils the Snapdragon 710

The first chipset from the Snapdragon 700 series

After announcing the Snapdragon 700 series at MWC 2018, Qualcomm officially announces the first model in the new line with the Snapdragon 710. Positioned between the Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 835, the Snapdragon 710 is built using a 10nm process and uses Kryo 360 cores.

Its features include a multi-core AR Engine and a Spectra 250 Image Signal Processor—both giving the Snapdragon 710 some AI muscle to handle neural processing, multi-frame noise reduction, and improved depth sensing for portrait mode.

In addition, it comes with QuickCharge 4+, an X15 LTE modem, and a 4X4 MIMO antenna support. It also has support for 4K HDR playback as well.

The Snapdragon 710 is expected to be available to consumer devices by the second quarter of 2018.
