One might be manufactured by Samsung
Aside from working on the Snapdragon 855 (or Snapdragon 8150), Qualcomm is working on two new mid-range processors namely the SM6150 and SM7150. Both processors are rumored to be manufactured using the 11nm process. Like the recently-announced Snapdragon 675, both processors might be manufactured by Samsung.
Differentiating the two are its camera and display support. The SM6150 supports Full HD+ displays, 12-megapixel+13-megapixel dual rear cameras, and 13-megapixel front camera. On the other hand, the SM7150 supports the same rear camera setup of the SM6150 but can handle a 20-megapixel front camera, along with a Quad HD+ display.
No details about the CPU cores were revealed as of this writing. Leakster Roland Quandt adds that both processors are expected to launch next year after the Snapdragon 8150/Snapdragon 855’s launch in December.
