Razer Updates Blade With 4K Display, Kabylake

If you’re the type of person that looks at Razer’s industry-leading Blade gaming notebook and mutters to yourself “it’s not fast enough”, then we have a treat for you. The gaming company has announced that they’ve upgraded a new model of the notebook that comes equipped with a 4K display and Intel’s latest and greatest chip, Kabylake.

The new 14-inch model can now be had with an optional 4K display, Intel’s latest Core i7-7700HQ CPU 16GB of DDR4 RAM (more if you require it) SSD storage up to 1TB, Thunderbolt 3 and Razer’s signature Chroma keyboard. Driving that 4K display is NCIDIA’s GTX 1060 GPU. That’s monster specs on a desktop rig, but Razer’s new blade manages to squeeze everything inside a chassis that’s just 17.70mm thin.

Of course all of that power won’t come cheap – the new Razer Blade cost around $1,899 (around 94.6K) without the 4K display. So if you really want to game on the go with the snake logo, be prepared to turn out your pockets.
