Realme 5 And 5 Pro Launching In PH On October 3

The two new quad-cam phones are arriving next month

After teasing and letting us handle their new quad-camera smartphone, Realme is launching the Realme 5 Pro as well as the lower Realme 5 model in the Philippines next month. The two new phones first launched in India in August, sporting big screens, big batteries, and quad-cameras.

The Realme 5 has a 6.5-inch HD+ 720 x 1600 display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 processor (with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage) and a quad-camera module made up of a 12-megapixel f/1.8 aperture main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide shooter, 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. That’s topped off with a 5000mAh battery.

The Realme 5 Pro, on the other hand, has a 6.3-inch full HD+ 1080 x 2340 resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 chipset (8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage) and a quad-camera module made up of a 48-megapixel f/1.8 aperture main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide shooter, 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor, topped off with a 4035mAh battery and 20w VOOC 3.0 charging.

No price has been set for these two phones, but in India, the 4GB/128GB model of the Realme 5 is priced at around INR 10.999 or around Php 8.1K, while the Realme 5 Pro is priced at INR 16,999 or Php 12.5K for the 8GB/128GB model.
