The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition was recently reviewed by DxOmark, and Redmi’s top-tier phone got a score of 120, which is 3 points better than the iPhone 11 Pro Max and a point ahead of the OnePlus 8 Pro.
Compared to the regular K30 Pro, the Zoom edition gets an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS.
In its review, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition got 129 in Photo, with DxOMark commending its wide dynamic range, good color saturation, and accurate exposures, despite falling a bit short when it comes to HDR images. While its ultra-wide-angle camera is average at best, its dedicated telephoto camera offers well-defined details at all focal lengths. Exposure and color remain to be good with the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition’s telephoto camera, along with well-controlled noise and artifacts.
On the other hand, its 101 video score is commended with the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition’s adaptive frame rate mode in 4K resolution. Autofocus is good in static videos, and its tracking mode performs decently with panning shots.
