Sharing the same design elements with the U11+
While HTC has been relatively quiet this year following the sale of its smartphone division to Google, the Taiwanese maker is set to launch a new flagship model with the U12+. After it was allegedly spotted during the Taiwan 5G Industry Alliance inaugural conference last month, leakster Evan Blass shared a clearer look at the new model.
On first impression, the U12+ shares a similar design to the U11+. Major changes include a quad-camera setup, with a 16-megapixel + 12-megapixel rear camera, and a dual 8-megapixel front camera. It has the same 6-inch panel like the U11+ with a WQHD+ resolution, meaning there are no notches to be found on this flagship.
As for specs, previous rumors are pretty much accurate: The U12+ will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor, along with 6GB RAM and options for either 64GB or 128GB internal storage. Keeping the lights on is a 3420mAh battery.
