Featuring a less blocky, more curvy design
Following the unveiling of the Xperia XZ3 at IFA 2018, it does not come to a surprise that Sony’s new mid-range phones get leaked. Recently, renders of the Xperia L3 and Xperia XA3 have surfaced. Both models are less blocky and have a curvy body like the Xperia XZ3.
Starting off with the Xperia L3, Sony’s affordable offering will have a dual rear camera setup and a bigger 5.7-inch 18:9 HD+ display. You still have sizable top and bottom bezels, but you get USB-C and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
On the other hand, the Xperia XA3 has thinner bezels than its predecessor but has two things the Xperia XZ3 does not have: a headphone jack and a dual rear camera setup. Like the Xperia L2, the Xperia XA3 will have USB-C and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The screen on the Xperia XA3 is slightly smaller than the XA2 at 5.9-inches, but its 18:9 aspect ratio makes it slimmer than its predecessor.
Little is known about the XA3 so far, save for rumors of a Snapdragon 660 processor and 6GB RAM.
