Rumored specs also in the latest leak
With roughly two weeks to go before Vivo unveils the V9, new images show the phone’s retail box, along with the actual phone itself. The V9 will come in a white box along with a photo of the unit, just like previous Vivo models.
As for the phone itself, the V9’s 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display comes with a small notch on top, along with a skinny bezel on the bottom. From the images leaked, the notch houses the 24-megapixel front camera, the earpiece, and a proximity sensor.
As for the specs, the V9 is rumored to have a Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, a 3250mAh battery, and a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 12-megapixel primary camera and 8-megapixel secondary camera. It will come with Android Oreo out of the box, along with a FunTouch OS 4.0 overlay.
As for pricing, the V9 is rumored to have a price of RP 4,999,000 in Indonesia. Converting that to Philippine peso will make the V9 priced at around Php 19k, which is Php 1k more expensive than the initial SRP of the V7+ last year. Considering the upgrades found on the V9 looks like Vivo will be pricing it competitively to go against other mid-range phones from the likes of Samsung and Huawei.
