120Hz variable refresh rate display confirmed
Ahead of its official launch on July 23, images of the ROG Phone 2 has surfaced over at Weibo.
Based on the leaked photos, the ROG Phone 2 will retain the OG ROG Phone’s notch-free display and dual front-firing speakers. Like its predecessor, the selfie camera is found on the top right corner.
The other leaked photo confirms the ROG Phone 2’s 120hz display, showing an option to choose between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz refresh rates. Not that much is known about the ROG Phone 2 as of the moment, save for being the first phone using Qualcomm’s upgraded Snapdragon 855+ processor along with 30W fast charging.
We should know more about the ROG Phone 2 in the coming days leading to its official launch.
