ROG Strix GL502 Priced, Will Retail For Php 99,995

ASUS’ newest gaming notebook gets priced in the PH

Remember the Strix GL502, that new notebook unveiled ahead of COMPUTEX three weeks ago? Apparently ASUS has wasted no time launching the new notebook in the PH, showing it off at an ROG event yesterday.

The new notebook comes with specs that any gamer worth his salt will appreciate: a 2.6GHz Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, a roomy 1TB HDD with a 128SSD for fast booting and NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX970M that comes with 6GB of GDDR5 memory.

Throw in a 15.6-inch full HD IPS display, customizable lighting on the keyboard and a whole slew of ASUS software, Windows 10 and bragging rights that you’re toting around an ROG notebook, and you have a potential winner in your hands. Probably the only downside is the price – at Php 99,995 it’s certainly not a notebook for casuals, but for many that ROG badge is enough to guarantee a purchase.
