Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Note8 to be Unveiled this August?

Ahead of the 2017 Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA Expo) in September

Gossip grapevine time again for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note8. According to industry rumors, Samsung could be debuting the Galaxy Note8 this August, ahead of the supposedly expected IFA 2017 unveiling this September. The source notes that Samsung is taking the pre-emptive strike on its rivals – especially against the upcoming iPhone 8 – by giving the Note8 a less hectic release window, way ahead of the competition. Also, there’s a lot of consumer trust to be regained as well, and Samsung getting a headstart on that is crucial for the success of the Note8.

As for what to expect on the Samsung Galaxy Note8, there’s been plenty of rumors from Weibo as of late. According to leaksters, the Note8 might be packing Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 836 – the incremental, overclocked version of the SD 835. Other heavy-hitting specs from gossip include a possible 6.3-inch Infinity Display, similar to the Galaxy S8 series, the latest Android 7.1.1 iteration, as well as a widely-circulated rumor of dual-rear cameras, twin 13-megapixel snappers built in-house by Samsung, via their Electro-Mechanics division.

Best to take this Note8 render with a bucket of sodium.
