Rumor: The Xiaomi Mi 6 Will Come in FHD and QHD Versions

Another day, another Xiaomi Mi 6 rumor report. This one, again, comes from yet another semi-reliable source on China’s Weibo, and it details that Xiaomi’s next flagship series will be landing with Full HD and Quad HD variants.

According to the anonymous leakster, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will launch in two main variants – a 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, Full HD model, and a 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, Quad HD version.

The poster also mentioned some camera details, noting that the Mi 6 will be equipped with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 main sensor and a Sony IMX268 for its 8MP selfie shooter.

As for Mi 6’s other specifications, they’re all up in the air. Some are speculating that the Mi 6 will be packing a MediaTek Helio X30 processor instead of a Snapdragon 835, as Samsung is allegedly hoarding the first prints of the premium SoC.

Supposedly, the Xiaomi Mi 6.

With Xiaomi opting out of the Mobile World Congress 2017, fans will have to wait a while longer for the Mi 6’s official announcement – unless Xiaomi preempts the expo with a product event of its own.
