Sample Camera Shots Using the Sony Xperia Z5

Did Sony’s 23MP Meets Broadway Centrum

We’re currently working on our full review of the Sony Xperia Z5 and we’ve been using it as our daily driver for the past few days. One of the biggest talking points of Sony about this device is its camera capabilities. We had an opportunity to put it to the test earlier today since we were attending the live show of Eat Bulaga in Broadway Centrum. Check out some of the sample shots we took below

The following photos were taken far away and we had to zoom a lot. That’s the reason why there’s so much noise in the photo. Sayang, ganda pa man din ng mga moments, hehe. 😛

So what are our initial impressions on the primary camera of the Xperia Z5?

Most of the shots we actually took were using the default 8MP setting and not the 23MP setting. There’s actually no need for excessive megapixel counts. Even Sony knows this since they put the 8MP setting as the DEFAULT on the camera.

As for the photo quality, in good lighting the Xperia Z5 can go toe-to-toe, if not go surpass, the flagships other manufacturers are offering. Where it is noticeably weak is when you zoom in. The noise is much higher compared to the noise you would get with a few other options that you have in the market.
